Elicia Howard planned to drive from LA back home to Brooklyn with a dear friend. She was excited to roam the landscapes and maybe even do some off-roading in her new Wrangler.
Enter a change in the timeline, and Howard’s friend could no longer join. Unfazed, determined to make the solo adventure work, Howard went looking for the modern-day Green-Book so she could stay safe on her journey.
Only there wasn’t one. Until now. Inspired by Victor H. Green’s The Negro Motorist Green-Book, Howard’s Highway is the answer to the lack of available safety precautions for traveling while Black.
